Do I need a visa to Thailand or Indonesia?

Thailand

Most nationalities are given a free 30-day tourist visa on arrival. For some passport holders, you may need to apply in your country of residence. If you wish to extend your stay in Thailand longer than 30 days, border runs to Myanmar (just 20 minutes away from the resort) can be arranged at your own expense. Please note that over staying your visa will result in a 500 THB per day penalty upon departure.

You can also ask for a 60-day-visa from the Thai embassy in your own country before arriving in Thailand.

Check out the Visa Policy of Thailand.

Indonesia

Nationals of 62 countries will be given a 30-day Visa on Arrival (fee: US$25). These include all European Union and EFTA member states except Croatia, all Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf member states, and citizens of Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Egypt, Fiji, India, Japan, Libya, Maldives, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Panama, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Suriname, Taiwan, Timor-Leste, Tunisia, Turkey and the United States.

Nationals of the following countries, however, can enter Indonesia without a visa for 30 days: Brunei, Cambodia, Chile, Ecuador, HK, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Morocco, Myanmar, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

All other nationalities should apply for a visa at an Indonesian embassy or consulate.
